We were in Marikina, Cainta and Pasig today, the whole day. This time we have seen the actual damaged of this storm Ondoy that ruied the lives of so many people in this areas. They were very vulnerable, traumatized and at the state of shock. Some cried so hard, some doesn't want to talk and they need professional help from a psychiatrist.

As expected some have fungi in their feet and toes, skin diseases, fever and some started to cough. So tomorrow, Friday and on Saturday we will have another mission........ Medical Mission.

God bless!

Just arrived from Fairview to visit our friends, and I can not hold on my tears to see them. What we are afraid now is that they are exposed to infection, because they started already to have skin diseases. We brought them drinking water, noodles, bread sardines and other canned goods, biscuits, soap tissue paper, dusters, under wears, diapers, etc. I drove the whole day, oh my God but I don't feel tired. I'm glad that we returned safe and fulfilled.
Tomorrow we will be in Marikina and in the afternoon, we will proceed to Cainta and Pasig. .

I would like to commend all Filipinos for their Bayanihan character, helping one another when there is crisis or disaster.
For those who joined me in doing our home visits to give food, water, and other things needed to our fellow employees and friends......... BRAVO for your helping hands, without you I could not do it alone... MABUHAY ang mga Filipinos!

Yup I did. Since I am also a member Committee on Disaster and Emergency Nursing I coordinated already with the Adm to request assistance in terms of human resources since Sunday because many of our employees were also victims. We even use my own cars to visit them and distribute foods and water.
I am glad that my UNICEF Family in which I am one of the donors, also extended help specially children food shelter and education

This tragedy shows that God continually tests people's character faith, obedience, love, integrity and loyalty. We don't exactly know all the tests God will give us, but we can predict some of them based on the Bible. We will be tested with major changes, delayed promises and even senseless tragedies like what we are experiencing right now.

In my own life, I have noticed that God tests my FAITH through impossible problems He gave me (having terminal endometrial cancer and diabetes) tests my HOPE by how I handle my possessions(to be humble and generously sharing to others and tests my LOVE through people (love and compassionate caring and service to others

Lastly, what God has taught us from this calamities? What is important is we learned.....

Hi Judith! Thank you for sending me this video. Yes, I could hardly look at this video without my heart wrenching in pain. Let us all pray for all our kababayans who were affected by this typhoon. But let us not only pray for them. If you are in a position to extend help in any way, (financially or otherwise)- please do so. May God bless you for your generosity.

Daily Prayer for Priests

O Jesus, Eternal Priest;keep all Your priests within the shelter of Your Sacred Heart, where none may harm them.

Keep unstained their anointed hands which daily touch Your Sacred Body.

Keep unsullied their lips purpled with Your Precious Blood. Keep pure and unearthly their hearts sealed with the sublime marks of Your glorious priesthood. Let Your holy love surround them and shield them from the world's contagion.

Bless their labors with abundant fruit, and may the souls to whom they have ministered to be their joy and consolation and in Heaven their beautiful and everlasting crown.

O Mary, Queen of the clergy, pray for us; obtain for us many holy priests.
